About Me

Hello and Welcome to TheaXessorize! Hope you are well and smiling :) I am Theano and I love accessories, hence my Blog name (Thea Exa = Theaxessorize) :) x

Let me introduce myself… (<smile> again)! OK, here goes…  I was born on the lovely Mediterranean island of Cyprus, and at a very very young age of only one 1 left with my parents for South Africa, where I spent the next 12 years of my life. My childhood was absolutely amazing and I have kept in touch with so many incredible people! Upon returning to Cyprus I spent the next years in Paphos and loving everything that this beautiful Mediterranean town has to offer. I worked as a waitress in my teens (at my parents Cafeteria), Themis Café... oh those were the years!!! Having gotten my degree as a Personal Assistant, I took on the job as a Personal Assistant to the Director of one of the Island's leading Developer Companies - the best 10 years of my life!! The challenges and non-stop work was unbelievable! I simply loved it! But all good things come to an end and every Era takes its toll, and I decided that I needed a change in my life. Meantime I had always been beading & crafting (love love love!!) To cut a long story short, I met the man of my dreams and settled in the fun city of Limassol.

So Beading, Crafting & creating Jewelry have become my full time passion now! I love anything that is handmade and pretty. I love handmade boho beach fashion, but I adore items that are recreated from scratch into something completely different, taking the old and making it new turning it into a completely new design, a mixture of rustic, boho, vintage & chic!  So whenever I see a new diy project that suits me I do not say no, I say YES!! Do you enjoy CRAFTING, CREATING, JEWELRY MAKING, BEADING, STATEMENT  RUSTIC & VINTAGE JEWELRY (generally anything which includes jewelry & accessories- oh and SHOES!!), COOKING TIPS & LINKS, INSPIRATIONAL & MOTIVATIONAL QUOTES? If you answered yes to any of these, then we have a lot in common and I am sure you will enjoy my future fun tips, ideas & projects! 

I know that there are many of you out there who have the same passion for creating as I do and love anything that makes you smile, so I thought why not share! So here I am, first time blogger and fingers crossed you will all be smiling and creating in no time at all x

This said, I will be featuring DIY crafts & tips, lots of heartwarming quotes, innovations & happy thoughts with special moments of my beautiful island, oh and my very own handmade jewelry (TheaXessorize), made in Cyprus with love :) . I will also be posting links that I like of course, and posts of people and projects that have inspired me to help keep you posted on what interests you! Please be patient with me as I am still learning lol :)

All in all, I love my hubby, creating, crafting, and now blogging, and my beautiful Island Cyprus and of course anything inspirational! So I do hope you enjoy what you see here… please feel free to share anything you like, comment or e-mail me if you wish (but please link back here, I would appreciate it).

🌸 An update to my long intro! :) I have recently been diagnosed with a chronic illness, namely Myasthenia Gravis, a chronic autoimmune neuromuscular disease that causes weakness in the skeletal muscles, which are responsible for the breathing and moving parts of our body, which includes the arms and legs. Myasthenia Gravis has a Latin and Greek origin, meaning "grave, or serious, muscle weakness". Inspite of this, and after a long absence from a lot of things in my life, including creating, blogging, reading, working and doing so many "normal things" I have decided that I will regain my confident self and NO! I will not let this illness define me! I may have Myasthenia Gravis, but it does not own me! So let's keep up our positive attitudes and keep smiling, crafting designing and creating no matter what! :)
